Brazilian crane specialist Transnacional has expanded its fleet with a used Liebherr LG 1750 lattice boom mobile crane, adding significant lifting power and flexibility to its service offering. The 750-tonne crane, sourced directly from Liebherr in Germany, marks a strategic investment aimed at meeting increasing market demand for high-capacity lifting solutions.
With its 8-axle configuration, the LG 1750 blends the strength of a crawler crane with the mobility of a traditional mobile crane—making it ideal for a range of complex projects. “This combination is precisely what we’ve been looking for,” said Managing Director Napoleão Luna. “It offers our customers first-class solutions in sectors such as wind energy, oil and gas, renewables, and industrial construction.”
The company cited growing demand for cranes over 500 tonnes as a key driver for the purchase. “Our customers increasingly require more powerful equipment. After extensive technical and economic evaluation, the LG 1750 stood out for its safety, reliability, and versatility,” Luna added.
Transnacional’s decision to buy directly from Liebherr reflects their long-standing confidence in the brand. “Our team trusts Liebherr. When operating machinery of this size, that trust is essential—especially for the operators in the cabin. For us, Liebherr is the best choice,” concluded Luna.
