Fogmaker International AB, a global provider of fire suppression systems for machines and vehicles, has announced the launch of its first Asian subsidiary, Fogmaker Southeast Asia, with a new office based in Bangkok, Thailand.
This strategic expansion marks a major milestone for the Swedish company, strengthening its footprint in the Asian market and enhancing its ability to serve customers across the region. The new subsidiary aims to deliver advanced, environmentally friendly, and highly adaptable fire suppression solutions, tailored to meet the specific needs of Southeast Asia’s diverse industries.
Initially, Fogmaker Southeast Asia will focus on three core segments: Buses, Material Handling, and Mining sectors, where fire safety is both critical and complex.
A key element of Fogmaker’s expansion strategy is sustainability. The company’s newly developed suppressant, Eco 1, is 100% PFAS-free and GreenScreen silver certified, underscoring Fogmaker’s commitment to environmentally responsible innovation. The customizable nature of the system allows it to be adapted for various applications, offering an ideal solution for the dynamic Southeast Asian market.
“We are thrilled about this new subsidiary and the expanded opportunities it brings to Fogmaker International,” said Lars Alrutz, CEO of Fogmaker International. “It will allow us to strengthen our presence further and better serve our valued customers in the region. It is a significant step towards achieving our vision of creating safer environments globally.”
Mika Virtanen, President of Air Technology & Electromechanics at Dacke Industri and Chairman of Fogmaker International, echoed the enthusiasm: “Fogmaker International’s strategic expansion into Southeast Asia and steadfast commitment to sustainability pave the way for new opportunities and success.
