Felbermayr’s Aerial Work Platform and Forklift Rental Division is making a significant investment in new equipment for 2025, starting with a large order of over 300 machines. The expansion includes specialized units as well as compact and maneuverable standard models, enhancing performance and workplace safety. The company’s growth in transport and lifting technology will continue throughout the year.
The iconic sky-blue Felbermayr rental fleet will grow with 250 aerial work platforms, including scissor lifts, articulated boom lifts, and telescopic boom lifts, along with 60 telescopic forklifts of varying capacities. The decision to invest was driven by the advanced features, improved performance, and ease of operation of the new equipment.

“The technology for aerial platforms and forklifts is evolving rapidly. We want to ensure our customers benefit from the latest innovations, including enhanced safety features,” said Robert Bauer of Felbermayr.
The fleet now includes all-terrain scissor lifts with working heights of up to 32 meters, offering greater efficiency and sustainability. New models feature lithium batteries and an energy recovery system that recharges the battery when the platform lowers.
The forklift rental division welcomes a powerful 46-meter telescopic loader with an eight-ton capacity and a 33-meter reach. Additionally, compact yet robust telehandlers with three-ton capacities and 5.8-meter working heights have been added, featuring Load Moment Indicators (LMI) for safety monitoring.
