The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) has confirmed the return of Global Lifting Awareness Day (GLAD) 2025 on June 12, with the theme “Lifting Careers, Building Futures.” This year’s focus is on tackling the growing skills shortage in the lifting industry and attracting new talent to secure its long-term future.
As businesses across construction, logistics, and manufacturing struggle to recruit and retain skilled professionals, #GLAD 2025 will offer practical solutions. The event will provide insights into best hiring practices, apprenticeships, and military resettlement programs while showcasing career pathways for job seekers.
A key highlight is an exclusive industry report on skills gaps and workforce challenges, presented in a special webinar hosted by LEEA CEO Dr. Ross Moloney and Membership Director Matt Barber.
“#GLAD 2025 is a crucial opportunity for businesses, educators, and job seekers to come together, share solutions, and invest in the future of our industry,” said Dr. Moloney.
