Dubai Trade is evolving its Digital Delivery Order (DDO) platform to Trade+, further enhancing trade operations across Dubai’s supply chain and logistics sectors.
Trade+ enables the digital exchange of cargo release documents between stakeholders such as shipping lines, freight forwarders, and consignees, accelerating the cargo release process. The service, available through the Dubai Trade Single Window for Trade and Logistics, cuts transaction times by an average of 90%, completing tasks that once took up to 48 hours in less than 10 minutes.
In addition to speeding up approvals, payments, and document transfers, Trade+ offers significant environmental benefits by eliminating paper-based processes. In 2024 alone, it saved an estimated 2.36 million documents from being printed, reducing carbon emissions linked to travel, fuel use, and congestion.
Trade+ is part of Dubai Trade’s ongoing investment in digital solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses. The platform will continue to be refined to optimize trade efficiency and experience.
