Wallenius Wilhelmsen has officially opened its new terminal in Brunswick, Georgia, featuring a state-of-the-art Equipment Processing Center (EPC) and Vehicle Processing Center (VPC). This milestone marks a major investment by the company, which has signed a 20-year lease with the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA), with options to extend up to 30 years.

The Brunswick terminal enhances Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s ability to serve the growing American market and expands its South Atlantic operations. The modern facilities are designed to accommodate increasing domestic and international volumes, ensuring operational efficiency and a streamlined supply chain.

The terminal integrates ocean transport with land-based services, including trucking through KEEN, EPC, VPC, and terminal services, providing seamless connectivity and a stronger supply chain.

Griff Lynch, President and CEO of Georgia Ports, commented, “The Port of Brunswick’s scale and facilities position Wallenius Wilhelmsen for success and new supply chain opportunities.”

John Felitto, COO of Logistics Services, added, “This investment underscores our commitment to the American market and solidifies Brunswick as a key hub for our South Atlantic offerings.
