Assistedile Srl, the official agent for Milan, Monza, and Brianza, has deployed a Raimondi T147 tower crane to support the reconstruction of Torre dei Moro, a 20-story residential building severely damaged by a fire in 2021. This ambitious rebuild marks a significant step in restoring the structure’s iconic place in Milan’s skyline.

We are proud to support the redevelopment of one of the city’s prominent urban skyscrapers by renting a Raimondi T147 to IMPRECOM Srl, the contractor overseeing the project,” stated Luciano Friso, Director General of Assistedile.

The unique conditions of the site, particularly the need to preserve unaffected building elements, required meticulous planning. Assistedile’s operations team carefully evaluated the positioning and installation of the crane to ensure safety, maximize productivity, and reduce costs for the contractor.

“After extensive analysis and technical considerations, we opted for installing the flat-top crane directly atop the building with the support of a 350t mobile crane,” explained Alessandro Morosi, Technical Manager and Partner at Assistedile.

Morosi highlighted that the Raimondi T147’s key features played a crucial role in the decision. “The weight-optimized carpentry elements and ease of jib assembly allowed for efficient installation. The crane’s versatility and exceptional lifting performance fully met our client’s needs.”

The Raimondi T147 is positioned at a height of 67 meters on the rooftop of the building, configured with an 18-meter mast and a maximum jib length of 62.5 meters. Standing at a final height of 85 meters, the crane offers a tip load of 1.45 tons and an 8-ton maximum lifting capacity. Its 37kW hoisting gear allows for a maximum lifting speed of 105 meters per minute, supported by a drum capacity of 620 meters.

As part of Raimondi’s Class 110 flat-top series, the crane is equipped with the advanced ConCore control system, delivering technical and operational enhancements, including faster commissioning, advanced error diagnostics, and improved safety features.

The Raimondi T147 will remain onsite for approximately two years, playing a central role in the revitalization of Torre dei Moro.
