Set for release in 2025, the P6 radio remote control by Palfinger will bring enhanced efficiency and comfort to crane operators. Designed for TEC Loader Cranes, it bridges the gap between the high-end PALCOM P7 and a lightweight, compact solution. Developed in collaboration with SCANRECO and customer input, the P6 meets the demands of fast-paced industrial environments with precision and simplicity.
As one of the smallest and lightest remote controls with a color display, the P6 boasts redesigned linear levers and joysticks for exceptional control. Its ergonomic design, complemented by versatile carrying straps, ensures operator comfort during extended use. Safety is prioritized with an integrated acceleration sensor that halts crane operation if the control is dropped.
The P6 features a 3.5-inch TFT color display and a battery lasting over 20 hours, with an optional backup battery providing another 20 hours of operation. Its 2.4 GHz frequency band ensures stable, uninterrupted communication, even in challenging environments.
With up to ten console variants, the P6 can be customized to match the specific needs of TEC Loader Cranes. This flexibility, combined with rapid access to spare parts and service, makes the P6 ideal for demanding applications.
“Direct customer feedback and collaboration with SCANRECO have enabled us to create a remote control tailored to real-world requirements, enhancing safety, efficiency, and comfort,” said Michael Völker, Head of Product Management Crane at Palfinger EMEA GmbH.
The P6 will be available for order starting January 2025, offering a modern, adaptable solution for the next generation of TEC Loader Cranes.
