La’ala Al Kuwait Real Estate Company has finalized its purchase of six new Tadano GR rough terrain cranes, now in full use on the Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City Project in southern Kuwait. The latest addition, a 145-tonne GR-1450EX, completes La’ala’s expanded fleet, equipping the company to meet the diverse demands of this large-scale waterfront development.

Matthew Roden, Director of Infrastructure & Construction Management, noted, “The arrival of the GR-1450EX completes our fleet expansion, positioning us well for the project’s challenges.” Tadano’s equipment also includes three 30-tonne GR-300EXs, a 50-tonne GR-500EXL, and an 80-tonne GR-800EX, which are already proving effective across La’ala’s infrastructure operations due to their pick-and-carry capabilities.

The company credits Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al-Babtain Co. W.L.L. and Tadano for their prompt deliveries and ongoing support.

The cranes are currently engaged in vital site work, including sewer and stormwater network installations, bridge and building construction, and marina pontoon launches. With their flexibility and high mobility, Tadano GR cranes are proving essential in tackling the varied demands of this ambitious megaproject.
