Subsea7 has been awarded a significant contract by Serica Energy for the Belinda field development, located southeast of the Triton FPSO in the UK Central North Sea. Situated approximately 190 kilometers east of Aberdeen, the field lies in 95 meters of water.

The contract encompasses project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of a 5-kilometer, 8-inch production pipeline with a 3-inch piggybacked gas lift line and an electro-hydraulic controls (EHC) umbilical. It also includes the installation of associated subsea structures and tie-ins to the Triton Floating Production Storage & Offloading (FPSO) vessel, operated by Dana Petroleum, via an existing manifold and controls at the Evelyn valve skid.

Engineering and project management will commence immediately in Aberdeen, with offshore activities set to begin in the third quarter of 2025.

Steve Wisely, Senior Vice President of UK and Global Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance at Subsea7, commented: “We are pleased to supply Serica Energy with our EPCI expertise and demonstrate the extensive North Sea experience we have developed over 50 years. We look forward to supporting the safe, efficient, and timely execution of this project.”

Subsea7 categorizes a sizeable contract as valued between $50 million and $150 million.
