Hiab, a division of Cargotec, secures substantial orders in the US totaling EUR 35.8 million. A national home improvement chain invests EUR 23.8 million in Moffet truck-mounted forklifts, while a national building supply chain places a separate EUR 12 million order for HIAB loader cranes and Moffets. The orders, part of Cargotec’s Q4 2023 intake, will be delivered in H1 2024.

All equipment, featuring HiConnect™ telematic data solution, supports streamlined operations. Hiab’s longstanding partnership with both customers spans decades, making it a trusted equipment and service provider nationwide.

Pauliina Kunvik, Senior VP, Sales & Services, North America, Hiab, emphasizes Moffet’s ability to cater to specific customer needs. The truck-mounted forklifts, including M8 NX models, offer single-operator versatility, delivering diverse materials directly to customers’ locations. Compact yet powerful, these forklifts comply with North American, Canadian, and European emission standards.
