Singapore-based Asia Break Bulk, a subsidiary of COLI Group, has announced a strategic partnership with CSL Shipping in China. The collaboration centers on the joint operation of the multipurpose carrier vessel ‘Jian Yang Hua Qing,’ equipped with two 250-ton cranes for loading breakbulk, heavy lift, and project cargo.
Felix Peinemann, Managing Director of COLI Group, emphasizes the expansion of their footprint in the MPP (Multipurpose) market, aiming to offer clients more sailing possibilities and increase presence in the Chinese market. The partnership enables both companies to jointly operate the vessel, enhancing market coverage in the MPP segment and expanding availability for global clientele.
The collaboration facilitates flexible communication, allowing commercial inquiries to be handled by CSL’s Shanghai office, ABB’s Singapore team, or COLI Group’s headquarters in Hamburg. The partnership is viewed as a significant milestone, strengthening the global network and enhancing service quality for joint clients, according to Jack Lee, Managing Director at CSL Group.
