Meachers Global Logistics, a logistics provider headquartered in Southampton, is fortifying both its team and its fleet through a substantial £1 million investment, reflecting its ongoing commitment to business growth.

The company has welcomed three new team members as part of this expansion. Simon Pelley takes on the role of Health and Safety and Compliance Manager, bringing invaluable managerial experience gained during his extensive 25-year career in logistics and transportation with the British Army.

Emma Newman, with her strong background in logistics and Operations Management, assumes the position of Operations Manager, focusing on optimizing efficiency and team performance.

Sophie Barnes joins as Meachers’ apprentice in Warehouse Administration, highlighting the company’s commitment to nurturing young talent.

In tandem with these new additions, Meachers is channeling its investment into expanding its fleet, which includes the acquisition of eight HGV 44t trucks and 20 trailers.
