Barnhart Crane and Rigging Co. and Taylor Crane Rental, both based in St. Louis, have reached an agreement in which Barnhart will acquire Taylor, including its operated crane rental service and all related personnel and equipment.
Taylor Crane Rental, established in 1946, is a respected family-owned and operated business that offers crane rental and services within a 300-mile radius of St. Louis. This acquisition will further strengthen Barnhart’s presence in the Midwest, where it already operates several branches in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Kentucky. “Taylor has built an outstanding reputation for providing tailored lifting solutions for projects of all sizes, backed by a highly skilled and dedicated staff. Their team will contribute to solidifying Barnhart’s position as the premier provider of lifting and logistics services in the region,” said Dan Webb, Regional Director of Barnhart.
“Taylor’s valued customer base will continue to receive the same high-quality service and product offerings they have relied on for the past 77 years. Additionally, they will benefit from access to Barnhart’s nationwide network of locations, supported by project cargo logistics capabilities, an engineering department with over 60 engineers, and their own fleet of barges for inland waterway transportation,” explained Jack Taylor, principal of Taylor Crane Rental.
