Enerpac Heavy Lifting Technology has introduced the SFP-B Series, its first battery-powered Split-Flow Pump for multi-point heavy lifting and skidding operations where access to power is limited or noise and emissions must be kept to a minimum.
The new system expands Enerpac’s SFP range, which already includes diesel- and electric-powered split-flow pumps, and is aimed at plant maintenance, infrastructure, industrial lifting and remote project sites.
The SFP-B features four split-flow outlets for use with single- and double-acting cylinders and provides more than 75 minutes of runtime at full capacity.
By removing the need for temporary power supplies, generators and extensive cable management, the battery-powered system is designed to reduce setup time while offering greater flexibility for indoor, urban and restricted-access projects.
The pump also avoids exhaust emissions and fuel handling on site while operating at lower noise levels than diesel-powered alternatives.
“From plant maintenance and shutdown operations to outdoor infrastructure and remote lifting projects, the Enerpac SFP-B gives contractors the freedom to deploy in minutes – without the constraints of power cables or diesel systems,”said Carsten Daft, Senior Product Manager at Enerpac Heavy Lifting Technology.
The unit is mounted in a steel transport frame equipped with forklift slots and lifting eyes, allowing it to be moved and repositioned quickly between work areas.
Enerpac says the battery model completes its split-flow pump portfolio, giving heavy lifting contractors a choice between electric, diesel and battery-powered systems depending on site conditions and operational requirements.
