LGHÂ France celebrated its first year of operations in Dreux, France, with an Open Day on 9 October, welcoming around 50 customers, suppliers and lifting-industry professionals for equipment demonstrations and technical discussions.
The event marked 12 months since the first rental order left the French facility and brought several important industry partners and customers to Dreux, including UFL President Xavier Charpentreau and Mediaco Technical Director Robert Titart.

Ponticelli MEGALIFT also supported the anniversary event with a 50-tonne crane on site, adding to a substantial display of lifting and rigging equipment available to the French market.

Among the equipment presented by LGH were a 125-tonne hydraulic gantry, 200-tonne 12-metre multi-point lifting beams, 1,000-tonne shackles, a 500-tonne wireless load shackle and L20 equipment, together with a broader range of hoisting, rigging and pulling systems.
The Open Day also gave visitors an opportunity to see equipment from LGH’s specialist suppliers and discuss applications directly with their technical teams.

Holmatro, represented by Sales Manager Tom Fictels, demonstrated its hydraulic skidding system and climbing jacks, while Walter Stolla represented REID Lifting with its Porta-Gantry range offering capacities up to five tonnes.

The anniversary represents an important milestone for LGH France, which continues to develop its rental and technical support capability from Dreux while giving French customers access to specialist lifting equipment from across the wider LGH European fleet.

Koffi Ahawo, Workshop Foreman in Dreux, was joined for the event by LGH colleagues from France and across Europe, including Lorenzo du Burck, Sales Manager France; Sacha Faudin, Business Development Manager France; Matthieu Auffray, Rental Desk Specialist France; Cas van Ree, Head of Sales at LGH Europe; Antonia Price, Head of Marketing at LGH Europe; Andy Mault, CEO of LGH Europe; Markus Voigt, Operations Manager EU; Ranjan Ghimire, Workshop Foreman Antwerpen; and workshop engineers Arvid van der Vloet and Arnuad Casiez.
