MCS launches AI customer summary tool

MCS Rental Software has introduced a new AI powered customer summary feature designed to help rental businesses turn large volumes of customer data into actionable insights.

The new tool analyses up to 24 months of customer information and converts it into a concise summary highlighting key trends, activity changes and performance indicators. It is intended to support faster decision making in areas such as account management and customer engagement.

The AI generated summaries provide an overview of metrics including rental performance, recent interactions, outstanding invoices and service levels. Users can also customise the output by adding instructions to focus on specific areas such as revenue, usage patterns or account activity.

According to MCS, the feature is designed to save time by reducing the need to manually review extensive datasets while improving consistency across teams. A standardised summary format helps minimise errors and allows easier comparison of customer performance across different parts of the business.

The company said the functionality integrates across its software ecosystem, enabling rental businesses to access insights directly within their existing workflows.

Chris Clarke, chief technology officer at MCS, said the innovation is focused on transforming data into informed decisions, enabling teams to better understand customer relationships and respond more proactively.

MCS added that the launch reflects its broader strategy of embedding practical AI capabilities into rental management tools. By simplifying complex data analysis, the company aims to help users improve daily decision making, strengthen service delivery and build stronger customer relationships.
