Palfinger has partnered with L&T Technology Services (LTTS), a provider of AI, digital and engineering services, to establish a new Global Development Center (GDC) in Pune, India. The initiative strengthens Palfinger’s global engineering network and reinforces its growing commitment to the APAC region.
The partnership was formalized during an inauguration ceremony in Pune on December 9. The new GDC will expand Palfinger’s engineering capacity, accelerate development timelines and enhance innovation for both local and international markets.
“By partnering with LTTS, we are significantly expanding our engineering capacity in a key market for future growth,” said Alexander Susanek, COO of Palfinger. “This investment strengthens our presence in strategically important regions like APAC with India at the forefront, and supports our Strategy 2030+ by combining global integration with local empowerment.”
Located in one of India’s top industrial and engineering hubs, the Pune center will be operated by LTTS and initially staffed by around 20 experts, with plans for future growth. Teams will work closely with Palfinger’s Technology Center in Austria, ensuring seamless collaboration and responsiveness to market demands.
