Seaway7, a subsidiary of the Subsea7 Group and a global specialist in fixed offshore wind installation, has been awarded a sizeable contract by Ocean Winds for the BC-Wind development in Poland.
Located approximately 23 kilometres off the Polish Baltic Sea coast, the BC-Wind offshore wind farm will comprise 26 wind turbine generators. Seaway7’s scope includes the transport and installation of 26 transition pieces and the project’s offshore substation. Offshore installation activities are expected to begin in 2027.
