Dietmar Floßdorf GmbH & Co. KG has reinforced its fleet with two new Liebherr cranes, enhancing its capabilities in heavy-duty lifting and wind farm assembly. The LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane and the LTR 1150 telescopic crawler crane will primarily operate as a duo on wind energy sites.
“The LTM 1750-9.1 significantly expands our deployment options in the heavy-duty and major assembly sectors, especially in relation to wind power,” explained Marco Floßdorf, the company’s authorised signatory. With its high load capacity, mobility and full equipment package, the nine-axle crane offers flexibility across a wide range of applications.

Supporting it is the newly acquired LTR 1150. The 150-tonne crawler crane can move with loads on the hook, making it highly practical on challenging construction sites. “The LTR 1150 offers the ideal combination of high load capacity, rapid setup time and exceptional terrain capability,” added Floßdorf.
The duo recently proved its strength at a wind farm near Alsfeld, Hesse. With limited space available, the LTR 1150 used its 52-metre boom to install the LTM 1750-9.1’s luffing jib over arable land, ensuring efficient assembly.
According to Floßdorf, the LTR 1150’s transport optimisation and versatility make it the perfect partner for the LTM 1750-9.1. Together, they will enable safer, faster and more efficient processes.
Floßdorf’s fleet now counts over 20 cranes and 23 transport vehicles, operated by its 70-strong team, delivering services across wind farms, heavy-duty projects and specialist transport operations.
