The TECHXPERT 2025 competition by Volvo CE Region Asia has successfully concluded, bringing together top dealer talent from across its extensive Dealer Network. The event showcased outstanding technical expertise, culminating in a thrilling final where three product specialists emerged victorious in their respective categories.
Soogeun Nam (Excavators) and Sangjun Park (Articulated Haulers) from Volvo CE Korea (KSS), along with Rico Rosal Salem Jr. (Wheel Loaders) from Civic Merchandising Inc – Philippines, triumphed over 96 competitors from 11 countries. Their expertise in areas such as advanced hydraulic systems and electric powertrain diagnostics underscored Volvo CE’s commitment to technical excellence and sustainability.
Following its successful 2023 debut, TECHXPERT 2025 provided a platform for dealer specialists to demonstrate their skills and drive professional development. The competition featured two phases: an online theoretical assessment in November 2024, where 85 participants advanced, and an intense final at the Jinan Technology Centre in China from February 17-19, 2025. In the final round, 12 top contestants tackled real-world challenges, including troubleshooting, component inspections, and remote technical support.
