Brazil’s Imetame Group has reinforced its lifting capabilities with the addition of four new mobile cranes from Liebherr, strengthening its capacity for complex industrial operations.
The new units include LTM 1090 4.2, LTM 1120 4.1, LTM 1250 5.1 and LTM 1230 5.1 models. The cranes will play a central role in a major pulp and paper project in Mato Grosso do Sul, where they will support heavy lifting, plant assembly and installation of extensive pipeline systems.
According to Imetame, the investment reflects a strategic effort to enhance technical performance while maintaining high safety standards. The selected crane mix provides complementary capabilities, from the mobility of the LTM 1090 4.2 to the long reach and flexibility of the LTM 1120 4.1. The LTM 1250 5.1 adds high lifting capacity within tight axle load limits, while the LTM 1230 5.1 offers strong performance at height thanks to its long telescopic boom and lattice extensions.
The cranes are equipped with all terrain chassis, enabling operation on public roads and demanding construction sites. Technologies such as VarioBase and VarioBallast provide improved stability and flexibility, particularly in confined spaces and varying load scenarios.
Imetame said its collaboration with Liebherr has grown steadily in recent years, citing reliability, technical support and aftersales service as key decision factors.
With more than 45 years of experience and around 5,000 employees, the Imetame Group operates across multiple sectors including metal processing, natural stone, port logistics and energy, positioning the new crane investment as part of a broader industrial growth strategy.
