At CONEXPO CON AGG 2026, WireCo will present its latest crane rope technologies aimed at supporting the increasing load demands, higher duty cycles, and evolving performance expectations seen across modern lifting operations. As cranes continue to grow in size and lifting capability, rope performance has become a critical factor for operators seeking predictable behavior, long service life, and operational efficiency.

WireCo’s presence at the show will focus on how advances in rope design, construction, and material selection can address key challenges such as rotation control, spooling behavior, abrasion resistance, and long term reliability. These factors are particularly relevant in quarry and aggregates applications, where cranes used for material handling, plant maintenance, and heavy lifting are routinely exposed to abrasive environments and demanding operating conditions.

The company will feature a range of crane rope solutions manufactured in the United States under its CASAR and OLIVEIRA brands. Rope samples will be displayed to demonstrate different construction methods and application specific benefits. Highlighted products will include CASAR Lazerlift, a rotation resistant hoist rope developed for large telescopic, crawler, and high capacity tower cranes, as well as CASAR Boomfit, designed for boom hoist applications with challenging multi layer spooling requirements. Also featured will be OLIVEIRA Durascend, a compacted rope solution intended for small to mid capacity cranes where cost efficiency and consistent performance are essential.

WireCo emphasizes that effective rope selection depends on matching rope characteristics to specific lifting requirements rather than relying on a single universal solution. Considerations such as crane size, load profile, duty cycle, and operating environment all play a role in optimizing safety and performance.
