Develon has introduced changes to its dealer territories in the Netherlands as part of a strategy to strengthen its market position. The new structure took effect on 1 January 2026 and is being managed by existing dealers Anema and Staad together with newly appointed dealer ELM Groep.
Anema, based in Arum, remains responsible for Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe, North Holland, Flevoland and Overijssel. ELM Groep, located in Waddinxveen, now covers Gelderland, Utrecht, South Holland, Zeeland and North Brabant west of the A27 motorway. Staad, headquartered in Veghel, is responsible for Limburg and North Brabant east of the A27. Each dealer oversees sales and service for Develon’s range of crawler, wheeled and mini/midi excavators, wheel loaders, dozers and articulated dump trucks within its territory.
Develon says the revised structure allows dealers to operate more efficiently within clearly defined regions, improving market coverage, response times, service and parts support. Day-to-day operations for customers remain unchanged. All three dealers provide on-site service, from emergency repairs to routine maintenance, as well as flexible service agreements, rental options and support for existing contracts. They also carry stocks of new and used Develon machines, genuine parts and accessories.
The company has recorded strong growth in the Netherlands, particularly in mobile excavators, and is now targeting a leading role in the tracked segment with its new 9 series machines. The DX260LC-9 recently achieved the highest score recorded in an independent test in Norway, outperforming competing brands.
ELM Groep, founded in 1926, has moved from sub-dealer status to a larger territory and a collaborative role in developing zero-emission electric machines. Working with ETEC Zero Emission, the partnership focuses on integrating electric drivetrains, charging systems and energy solutions. The cooperation has led to a new line of Develon electric excavators, designed to deliver diesel-equivalent performance with battery capacity for a full working day.
