DENZAI International Projects Co., Ltd. has received an Achievement Award from Hyundai Engineering & Construction (HDEC) after completing all heavy lifting works on the S-Oil Shaheen Project in Ulsan, South Korea, with zero incidents. The award was accepted by Country Manager Jeong Won Seo, Project Director JK Lee and President & CEO Kohki Uemura.
The company executed more than 200 heavy lifts for the $7 billion Shaheen development, which is designed to convert crude oil into petrochemical feedstock. These included a record-setting 1,160.5-ton lift — the heaviest ever performed by a crawler crane in South Korea — as well as lifts of 973 tons and 902 tons. Key equipment deployed included DENZAI’s LR12500-1.0 (2,500-ton crawler crane) and LR11350 (1,350-ton crawler crane).
