Engineered Rigging has expanded its national bare rental fleet with the purchase of six Holmatro 400-ton Skidding Systems. This strategic investment significantly boosts the company’s capacity to support synchronized, high-capacity horizontal load movements for major infrastructure and industrial projects across the United States.
The Holmatro 400T system is designed for precision horizontal movement, offering 400 tons of push/pull capacity in both directions. Its double-acting cylinders, rigid steel beams, and synchronized hydraulic control enable safe and accurate load transport, even over large unsupported spans or uneven foundations.
“We’ve seen increasing demand for scalable rigging and transport solutions for large projects nationwide,” said Mike Beres, Vice President of Engineered Rigging. “By adding six 400-ton skidding systems to our fleet, we’re eliminating logistical delays and ensuring high-capacity precision equipment is available when and where it’s needed.”
This expansion enhances Engineered Rigging’s ability to respond rapidly to complex projects requiring precision lateral movement, such as rail-side transfers and foundation work. With the new systems in stock, the company can now deploy equipment immediately for both short-term and multi-site projects.
Beyond the 400T system, Engineered Rigging’s fleet includes the Holmatro 200-ton Lightweight Skidding System, Power Slide PS500, self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs), and robot dollies—all available for rental or sale. This expansion reinforces the company’s position as a key partner for clients tackling heavy, high-stakes rigging and transport challenges across the nation.
