Rockford, Illinois-based The Caldwell Group Inc. is highlighting RUD’s new lifting points configurator, an intuitive digital tool that uses 3D visualization and animations to simplify product selection for rigging professionals.

Caldwell, a leading manufacturer of below-the-hook and material handling equipment, has partnered with Germany’s RUD for years to distribute lifting points and related products across the U.S. and Canada. The new configurator enhances this offering by allowing users to quickly identify the right lifting points for their projects directly in a web browser.

Through a series of guided steps, users can input essential criteria such as working load limit (WLL), number of chain legs, lifting method, and mounting type (boltable or weldable). They can also filter options by industry standards like ASME, application area such as offshore, and material specifications including duplex steel. Once complete, the tool presents a tailored list of suitable products with technical data and 3D visuals.

“Choosing the right lifting point is crucial for safety and efficiency,” said Sarah Stitt, product manager for the RUD range. “This tool simplifies the process, helping users compare options and ensure compliance with safety standards.”

Caldwell continues to expand its RUD In-Stock program, now offering nearly 200 SKUs including popular products like the ACP-Turnado Automatic Center Lifting Point and VRS Swivel Eyebolts, as well as ROV hooks, load rings, and fall protection points.
