Long-standing Tadano partner Sotrama has taken delivery of France’s first Tadano AC 5.250L-2 all terrain crane, further strengthening its Tadano fleet and reaffirming a partnership built on trust and reliability.

With over 70 years of experience serving the construction, shipbuilding, industrial and public works sectors in Brittany, Sotrama specializes in heavy lifting, industrial relocation, demolition, equipment rental and transport. The addition of the AC 5.250L-2 highlights the company’s commitment to providing clients with the most advanced and versatile lifting solutions.

Featuring a 79 m main boom and a maximum length of 109 m, the new crane delivers outstanding reach for projects ranging from industrial installations and ship lifts to tower crane assembly. Despite its size, it remains below the 12-tonne axle load limit, allowing easy road travel between job sites without special permits.

SOTRAMA already operates several Tadano all terrain cranes, known for their performance and reliability,” says Peggy Guenault, Managing Director of Sotrama. Our new 250-tonne unit, equipped with extensions reaching 91 m, is already in operation — that kind of reach is remarkable!

Equipped with automatic boom extensions, the IC-1 Plus control system, and the Surround View camera system, the AC 5.250L-2 ensures safe, efficient operation in all environments.
