Oman Air Cargo has appointed Lesley Cripps as its new European Sales Manager, marking a key step in the airline’s regional growth strategy.
With over 30 years of industry experience, Cripps will develop a key account programme and manage the carrier’s network of General Sales Agents (GSAs) across Europe.
“Oman Air Cargo is ripe for growth, and I look forward to contributing to the transformation already underway,” said Cripps. “The relaunch of our winter service between Muscat and Zurich highlights strong demand in Europe, and I’m eager to expand Oman’s presence across the region.”
Working closely with the Muscat-based sales team, Cripps will help strengthen the airline’s product-led services across Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East.
Lesley’s appointment aligns with Oman Air Cargo’s broader goal to boost Oman’s global cargo footprint. Head of Cargo, Michael Duggan, commented: “Having experienced regional sales managers in-market enables us to better understand and serve our customers; Lesley’s expertise will be key to deepening those relationships.”
Cripps’ appointment coincides with the reintroduction of Oman Air Cargo’s winter service to Zurich on 1st October. Operating four weekly Boeing 787 flights, the service provides capacity for general cargo, perishables, and pharmaceuticals.
