Italian heavy lifting specialist Vernazza Autogru is expanding its capabilities with the addition of a new Tadano AC 7.450-1 all terrain crane — the same model showcased at bauma 2025 in Munich. The Genoa-based company has also ordered three more Tadano units: an AC 6.300-1, AC 4.080-1, and AC 4.070-2.
“The AC 7.450-1 sets a new benchmark on seven axles — compact, powerful, and versatile,” said CEO Diego Vernazza. “Having our branded unit at bauma was a proud moment, and we’re excited to now have it in operation.”
Combining the footprint of a six-axle crane with the lifting power of an eight-axle, the AC 7.450-1 features an 80-meter main boom — the longest in its class — as well as Tadano’s Sideways Superlift and Surround View camera systems for enhanced safety and performance.
The incoming AC 6.300-1 adds flexibility, with a compact design and luffing jib that make it ideal for tight urban and industrial environments. The AC 4.080-1 delivers impressive lifting power in steep boom positions while remaining within standard axle loads for road transport. The AC 4.070-2 brings further versatility for medium-capacity jobs.
Davide Camperi, Tadano Business Leader for Italy, commented, “Vernazza’s trust in our cranes is a strong endorsement of our partnership. We’re proud to support their continued growth.”
