King Lifting has strengthened its fleet with the addition of a new Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile all-terrain crane. Liebherr’s largest eight-axle crane features two telescopic boom lengths: a 54-metre main boom, extendable to 80 metres. Equipped with a 90-metre luffing jib and Y-shaped guying system, it achieves a maximum hook height of 152 metres and a working radius of 112 metres, making it ideal for both heavy lifting and projects requiring extended reach.
The 700-tonne crane incorporates advanced working-at-height features and the WindSpeed load chart, which enhances safety by adjusting lifting capacities based on wind conditions. It also includes VarioBallast, allowing hydraulic adjustment of the ballast radius, and VarioBase, which improves lifting performance in confined spaces.
Tristan King, Managing Director of King Lifting, stated: “We are delighted to add another LTM 1650-8.1 to our fleet. Demand for this machine has grown significantly over the past three years, and this addition reinforces our commitment to providing clients with the latest lifting solutions.”
Last year, King Lifting expanded its fleet with several Liebherr all-terrain cranes ranging from 60 to 250 tonnes, supporting its strategy of operating a modern and technologically advanced fleet.
