Liebherr has expanded its luffing jib crane portfolio with the launch of the 620 HC-L 18/36, a powerful and compact crane designed for inner-city and large-scale construction projects. Positioned as the larger counterpart to the 440 HC-L, the new crane offers increased lifting capacity, state-of-the-art technology, and enhanced efficiency.
With a maximum lifting capacity of 18 tonnes in one-fall operation and 36 tonnes in two-fall operation, the 620 HC-L is built for demanding job sites. Its Load-Plus function boosts capacity by up to 76%, expanding its range of applications. The crane’s 65-metre jib and compatibility with the 24 HC 630 tower system allow for a freestanding height of up to 74.3 metres, reducing costs and improving flexibility.

Designed for tight spaces, the 620 HC-L requires minimal clearance with an out-of-service radius of just 12 metres and an operating position of 4.1 metres, making it ideal for high-density construction zones. Its plug-and-play assembly system and pre-installed components minimize setup time, requiring only ten transport units at full radius, including counter-ballast.
Equipped with advanced Liebherr drives and the latest EMS-4 control system, the crane ensures smooth and efficient operation. The TC-OS platform’s 12-inch display and radio control system provide intuitive handling, enabling operators to access features like Micromove and electric weathervaning for precise and safe maneuvering.
