UK manufacturer Trans-Web has successfully recertified its lifting slings to the BS EN1492 European Standard, reinforcing its commitment to safety and reliability.

The BS EN1492 standard ensures lifting slings meet stringent requirements for strength, durability, and performance in demanding environments. Trans-Web’s duplex webbing slings and round slings passed rigorous break load testing under BS EN1492:1 and BS EN1492:2, confirming their ability to withstand tough conditions in industries such as construction, marine, oil & gas, and logistics.

At Trans-Web, safety is our priority. Our recertification reassures customers that they can trust our products in the most challenging applications,” said Lee Wrigley, Trans-Web Director.

Founded in 1987, Trans-Web designs, manufactures, and tests its lifting, lashing, and height safety equipment in-house, ensuring high-quality solutions for UK distributors. Looking ahead, the company is developing a new range of lifting slings for high-heat and chemical environments.

With our ongoing innovation, we continue to support customers across various industries, providing the highest quality lifting solutions,” Wrigley added.
