Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) has reinforced its global leadership in trade and logistics by winning five top honors at the fDi Global Free Zones of the Year 2024 awards. Jafza was ranked first globally, named Industrial Zone of the Year, and recognized as the Top Sustainable Zone in both the global and Middle East categories.
These awards highlight Jafza’s extensive infrastructure investments, sustainability efforts, and its role in attracting high-value global businesses. With over 10,700 companies operating in the free zone, Jafza plays a major part in Dubai’s industrial output. Its sustainability projects, including the region’s largest rooftop solar installation, contribute to its goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
Abdulla Bin Damithan, CEO & Managing Director of DP World GCC, praised Jafza’s impact on global trade and Dubai’s economy as the zone approaches its 40th anniversary.
