Eco Log, a Swedish OEM, recently celebrated a milestone with the delivery of its 1,000th machine powered by a Volvo Penta engine. Nearly a decade ago, Eco Log fitted the first-ever Volvo Penta engine in a forestry application, the D8 Stage IV, which continues to run today. This highlights the durability of Volvo Penta’s engines and the strength of its partnerships with OEMs like Eco Log.

The 1,000th machine, an Eco Log 590G Harvester equipped with the latest D8 Stage V engine, was delivered to Nitta Rundvirke AB, a Swedish forestry company that has been a long-time user and field tester of Volvo Penta engines. Owner Frans Spetz praised the reliability of the engines, noting that with only routine maintenance, they continue to perform efficiently in demanding forestry environments.
