Brigade Electronics has been distinguished with a King’s Award for Enterprise in international trade, joining a select group of 252 organizations nationwide recognized for their excellence. The award acknowledges Brigade’s commitment to international trade, highlighting its significant contributions in this domain.

Established in 1976 by Chris Hanson-Abbott OBE, Brigade Electronics has been a pioneer in vehicle and plant safety, introducing groundbreaking products and patenting new technologies. Employing 154 individuals in the UK, the company continues its mission to enhance road and workplace safety.

Philip Hanson-Abbott, Managing Director of Brigade Electronics, expressed gratitude for the honor, emphasizing the dedication of the team in the UK and across global offices. This marks Brigade’s second recognition, following the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade received in 2019.

The official award ceremony will take place in July at Windsor Castle, hosted by His Majesty the King. Renamed last year to honor His Majesty’s wish to continue Queen Elizabeth II’s legacy, the King’s Award for Enterprise is the country’s most prestigious business accolade, granting successful businesses the esteemed King’s Award Emblem for five years.
