Develon Marks Successful First Year 

Develon, formerly Doosan Construction Equipment, celebrates a thriving inaugural year in Europe and worldwide. Established in early 2023, the brand transitioned seamlessly, retaining the iconic orange color and product names while infusing fresh vigor into its operations.

The official launch at the Conexpo trade fair in Las Vegas heralded a series of regional debuts worldwide. Through dealer meetings, customer events, and media engagement, Develon bolstered brand awareness, culminating in the inaugural Global Develon Day event in South Korea.

In Europe, major exhibitions like Samoter, Plantworx, and Steinexpo showcased Develon’s commitment. CEO Jayden Lim praised stakeholders for embracing the transition, emphasizing continuity in values, networks, and technologies.

Expansion efforts in Europe include a new Training Centre in France and a forthcoming company-owned store in Germany. Additionally, the relocation of the Parts Distribution Centre to Belgium aims to enhance service efficiency by 2024.

Clarifying its corporate structure, Develon operates under HD Hyundai, alongside Hyundai Construction Equipment (HCE), fostering cooperation under HD Hyundai XiteSolution to bolster market presence.

Develon’s rapid migration from Doosan underscores its commitment to innovation. The brand has expanded its product line, including mini-excavators and electric models, while strengthening its sales network to solidify its position in the global market.

Looking ahead, Develon prioritizes technological advancement, with plans to introduce electric and fuel cell equipment. Notable innovations like the Smart Collision Mitigation system and Concept-X 2.0 autonomous construction equipment underscore Develon’s vision for shaping the future of the construction industry.
