Northern German company Sönke Jordt Maschinen- und Schwertransport GmbH & CO. KG has expanded its crane fleet with the addition of the first LTM 1100-3.5 mobile crane. This marks Liebherr’s second delivery of a crane model equipped with the new LICCON3 control system. The decision to purchase was driven by the crane’s compact design and high mobility due to flexible axle loads.

The Liebherr LTM 1100-5.3 mobile crane, unveiled at Bauma 2022, boasts a narrow width of just 2.55 meters, making it suitable for road transport in the company’s operating region in northern Germany. Tim Jordt, the company’s Managing Director, expressed enthusiasm for the new crane, citing its ideal fit for their purposes.

The crane’s lightweight design and reduced axle loads offer advantages in road transport, leading to simplified regulations, fuel savings, and reduced travel time. Additionally, the crane’s new design in the company’s corporate colors, including paintwork, cabin features, and LED lights, further impressed Managing Director Sönke Jordt.

Sönke Jordt Maschinen- und Schwertransport GmbH & CO. KG has been a loyal customer of Liebherr for twelve years, relying on their cranes for various services including crane hire, assembly, dismantling, towing, transport, and workshop services.
