Today, Konecranes revealed its latest innovation, the Konecranes X-series industrial crane, succeeding its renowned CXT model. Boasting a sleek, compact design and cutting-edge technology, the X-series offers wireless upgrade capabilities, ensuring adaptability to evolving customer needs.

Jussi Luokomaa, Product Manager at Konecranes, highlighted the X-series’ significance: “Building upon the CXT’s 25-year legacy, the Konecranes X-series is poised to revolutionize various industries, particularly general manufacturing, becoming a cornerstone product for years to come.”

The X-series prioritizes sustainability with eco-conscious design and materials, featuring a more efficient motor and synthetic rope for enhanced performance and reduced environmental impact.

Notably, the crane’s connectivity sets it apart, equipped with advanced radio and software technology, along with Konecranes’ TRUCONNECT remote monitoring capabilities. This allows for seamless wireless updates and upgrades, paving the way for future Smart Features adoption such as Follow Me, Sway Control, or Snag Prevention.

This focus on connectivity underscores Konecranes’ commitment to productivity enhancement and downtime reduction, solidifying its position as one of the leaders in digital services. With over 53,600 connected pieces of equipment globally, Konecranes continues to prioritize customer needs and business growth.

Orders for the X-series are now open, with initial deliveries scheduled for Q4 2024 in EMEA and subsequent deliveries in other regions.
