LASTRO Heavylift, a German heavy lift company, has successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of its newly acquired Enerpac JS-250 Jack-up system at Enerpac Heavy Lifting Technology in The Netherlands. The JS-250, equipped with a bracing kit, impressively lifted a 660 metric ton load to a height of 15m during the testing.

The Enerpac JS-250 system, featuring four towers, has a lifting capacity of up to 1,400 tonnes to 5m and 1,000 tonnes to 10m. The added bracing kit includes four specially designed mid barrels, four adjustable braces, and eight diagonal tension bars. This bracing system is particularly valuable in scenarios with side loads, such as deploying the JS-250 on self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs) during bridge construction.

In addition to the JS-250 Jack-up, LASTRO has expanded and modernized its equipment fleet with 200-tonne and 70-tonne Enerpac strand jacks, along with a complete Enerpac SCJ-Series 100 cube system.

Katja Marmann, CEO of LASTRO Heavylift GmbH, emphasized the significance of Enerpac’s compact systems in handling larger and heavier loads in confined spaces. She stated, “The Jack-up and Cube Jack systems are highly capable lifting solutions for projects where traditional cranes may not be feasible, especially within factory and production buildings.”
