Volvo Group has established CampX, a global innovation hub, where over 50 startups have honed their ideas. This concept offers startups a physical space to collaborate with Volvo Group and foster their innovative ideas. Now, Volvo is taking the initiative a step further by launching the CampX Incubator, a track specifically designed for early-stage startups to further develop and bring their cutting-edge technologies to market with the support of Volvo’s network, mentorship, and business expertise.

CampX, launched in 2019 in Gothenburg, Sweden, has since expanded to four countries. The startups work closely with Volvo Group’s expert engineers to gain valuable mentorship, connections, and business insight.

The new CampX Incubator reflects Volvo Group’s dedication to supporting startups in realizing their impactful and sustainable innovations, particularly in the areas of electromobility, autonomous vehicles, and digital solutions.

“We are confident that the CampX concept can help catalyze an urgent transformation of the transport industry towards a sustainable future. Speed in innovation is perhaps the most crucial factor on this challenging journey,” says Lars Stenqvist, Chief Technology Officer Volvo Group.CampX is a strategic engine where we can accelerate technology and business innovation through partnerships. Our thousands of technical and business experts can assist startups in co-creating and validating their new ideas, for example by using our laboratories, test vehicles and workshops.”
