ML Crane Group has commissioned a new Liebherr LR 1600/2 crawler crane. The 600 ton unit is the 28th Liebherr crane in ML Crane Group’s fleet. Thanks to its SL8F3 boom system, the machine is ideally equipped to erect and service wind towers with hub heights up to 105 meters, and ground-bearing pressure is kept to a minimum with wide 2.0-meter track pads.
“We at ML Crane Group are excited to announce and welcome the LR 1600/2, 660-ton crawler crane to our vast fleet of cranes,” said Scott Wilson, President of ML Crane Group. “The crane recently arrived and its first mission is a wind maintenance project for a customer that has used our company since we started in wind energy, over twenty years ago.”
