Develon’s new site in Mannheim, Germany, is moving forward swiftly, with major structural milestones already achieved. Located at Lembacher Straße 30 in the Friedrichsfeld district, the 10,650 m² site now boasts a fully erected shell for its administration building. In the coming weeks, construction teams will focus on façade work and interior installations, with a webcam providing hourly updates on the project’s progress.
“We’re literally watching our vision of growth come to life each day,” says Andreas M. Lohner, Managing Director of Develon Germany and Sales Manager for the GSA region and Eastern Europe. “We look forward to welcoming customers and retailers on-site from next year, along with offering German-language training courses at bauma.”
René Halter, a member of Develon’s management board in Mannheim, shares in the excitement, noting the completion of the shells for both the office building and the adjacent warehouse, which offer “a truly impressive view of the entire construction project.”
The new headquarters will feature expansive workshop spaces, a modern office building, and a dedicated customer and training center, along with facilities for Develon’s latest rental fleet and a broad selection of new machinery. The site will create up to 40 new jobs and is conveniently located near the A656 highway, providing easy access for customers and staff.
Develon aims to complete main construction by year-end, while providing its full range of services from an interim location at Seckenheimer Landstrasse 210-220, which opened in March 2023.
