VINCI Energies Expands into Maritime Sector with Acquisition of RH Marine and Bakker Sliedrecht

VINCI Energies has expanded its industrial footprint in the Netherlands by acquiring RH Marine Netherlands B.V. and Bakker Sliedrecht Electro Industrie B.V., two leading companies specializing in the maritime sector. The acquisition marks a significant entry for VINCI Energies into this new market segment.

RH Marine, founded in 1860, is a system integrator providing advanced automation, electrical solutions, and integrated systems for the maritime industry. The company offers end-to-end services, from engineering and system integration to installation, maintenance, and lifecycle support for all types of ships.

Bakker Sliedrecht, established in 1919, is an electrical integrator that designs, installs, and maintains electrical installations and onshore infrastructures for the nautical, dredging, and offshore sectors.

This acquisition strengthens VINCI Energies’ industrial services portfolio and enhances its presence in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to approval from the Dutch competition authority (ACM) and is expected to close by year-end.

In 2023, VINCI Energies generated €900 million in revenue in the Netherlands, with 3,900 employees across its four business lines. Globally, the company reported €19.3 billion in revenue through its network of 2,000 business units across 61 countries.
