deugro continues its expansion in Brazil with the opening of a new branch in Porto Alegre, strengthening its presence in the country’s southern region.
The new office in Rio Grande do Sul reflects the company’s ongoing growth and its strategy to be closer to key markets. Southern Brazil is increasingly seen as a region with strong economic potential, particularly across sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure, oil and gas, petrochemicals and mining.
From Porto Alegre, deugro will offer a full range of project freight forwarding and logistics services, supporting both local and international clients with complex transport requirements to and from the region.
The expansion is supported by the appointment of Mirela Mattos as Business Development Manager. Bringing extensive local expertise, she will play a key role in developing client relationships and supporting regional growth.
“I am excited to be part of the opening of deugro’s new branch in Porto Alegre,” said Mattos. “It is a great opportunity to support the company’s growth and build a strong, sustainable operation.”
Mark Hollenstein, President South America and South Europe, added: “This is a fundamental step in our strategy to be even closer to our clients. Southern Brazil offers significant investment potential, and this new structure allows us to better support complex projects and strengthen collaboration with local partners.”
With Porto Alegre becoming its fifth office in Brazil, alongside São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Santos, deugro reinforces its long-term commitment to the Brazilian market.
