Engineered Rigging has appointed Melissa Hicks as director of marketing, strengthening its leadership team with a long-standing partner of the business.
Hicks has been closely involved with the company since its launch in 2017, working as a consultant and playing a key role in shaping its brand and industry presence. Her transition to a full-time position reflects both her impact and the company’s continued growth.
“Melissa has been a driving force behind our brand, our voice and our presence in the rigging industry. Bringing her onto the team full time is a natural next step,” said Christopher Cox, founder and president of Engineered Rigging.
With nearly 30 years of experience, Hicks is recognised for combining creative vision with strong commercial insight. Her expertise spans brand strategy, content development and public relations. She is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and founded Mosaic Marketing in 2002, building it into a respected agency serving B2B companies and nonprofits across the United States.
In her new role, Hicks will lead the company’s marketing strategy, oversee brand development across all platforms, and drive public relations initiatives. She will also support the company’s philanthropic activities through Engineered Giving.
