MCS Rental Software launches a new AI-powered customer summary feature designed to help rental businesses better understand and manage their customer relationships.
The tool analyses up to 24 months of customer data and converts it into a concise, actionable overview, highlighting key trends and identifying changes in activity. By presenting insights on rental performance, recent interactions, outstanding invoices and service levels, the feature enables users to make faster, more informed decisions.
Developed to support day-to-day operations, the system also allows users to customise summaries based on specific priorities such as revenue, usage or customer activity. This flexibility ensures that different teams can access the most relevant insights for their roles.
Chris Clarke, Chief Technology Officer at MCS, said the innovation focuses on transforming complex data into practical decision-making tools. He noted that the feature helps businesses gain a clearer and quicker understanding of customer relationships, enabling more proactive responses and improved service delivery.
The AI-generated summaries are designed to save time by reducing the need to manually review large volumes of data, while also improving consistency and accuracy through a standardised structure. This allows businesses to compare customer performance more effectively across their operations.
Nick Thomson, Chief Sales Officer, added that the development reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to helping customers gain clarity and confidence in their data.
The new feature is part of MCS AI Insights and integrates across the company’s software solutions, supporting rental companies in enhancing customer engagement and driving data-led decision-making.
