Bertling has announced the successful execution of a complex compressor skid shipment handled under full liner hook terms. Due to the size and technical complexity of the cargo, the project required detailed planning and close coordination from an early stage.

The shipment was executed from the Port of Rotterdam to Dampier, Karratha, Australia, and involved one compressor skid weighing 102,000 kgs with a total volume of 495.708 CBM. The project was managed by Bertling’s UK team, who played a key role throughout the entire operation.

Bertling’s scope of work covered comprehensive technical planning and preparation of documentation in line with the requirements of the appointed Marine Warranty Surveyor. At the Port of Rotterdam, the team provided hands-on supervision of the loadout, including lashing and securing, ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards.

The unit was safely loaded onboard MV Klara using a single-point lift with a shore crane and is scheduled to arrive at destination in early February.
