MEI Industrial Solutions has announced the acquisition of CCI Industrial Services, a well-established industrial services provider headquartered in Somerset. The move strengthens MEI’s presence in Kentucky, a region seeing sustained growth in industrial and manufacturing activity.
CCI employs approximately 120 people and operates from facilities in Somerset and Glasgow. With the transaction completed, MEI’s national workforce now exceeds 2,000 employees across the United States.
Known for its technical expertise, reliability, and strong customer focus, CCI provides full-service industrial solutions, including rigging and machinery moving, millwrighting, fabrication, and specialised electrical services. The company has extensive experience supporting a wide range of industrial sectors, notably the automotive supply chain, one of the fastest-evolving segments of the US industrial economy.
The acquisition enhances MEI’s end-to-end service offering, particularly in equipment-level electrical work linked to the installation, relocation, operation, and upgrading of complex industrial machinery. CCI’s electrical capabilities range from low-voltage control systems to 480-volt equipment power, integrated throughout the machinery lifecycle.
