DENZAI Huationg Logistics Pte. Ltd., headquartered in Singapore, has been recognised for its contribution to the successful completion of the Open Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT) Project on Jurong Island.
The award was presented by Jurong Engineering Limited and JEL Maintenance Pte. Ltd. in appreciation of DENZAI’s role in supporting the delivery of the project, which was commissioned by the Singapore Government through the Energy Market Authority (EMA). The development is owned and operated by Meranti Power, an EMA subsidiary.
The OCGT facility forms part of Singapore’s wider strategy to enhance electricity supply reliability and strengthen grid resilience. Designed to respond rapidly to fluctuations in power demand or unexpected supply disruptions, the plant has a total installed capacity of approximately 682 MW, delivered through two OCGT units rated at around 341 MW each.
DENZAI provided a full range of heavy-lift and logistics services for the project. This included lifting operations using mobile cranes with capacities of up to 700 tonnes and crawler cranes up to 600 tonnes. The scope also covered the transportation of oversized and heavy cargo using flatbed, low-bed and multi-axle modular trailers, supported by specialised lifting teams comprising certified supervisors, riggers and signalmen.
Commenting on the achievement, Sheik Allaudeen, General Manager of DENZAI Huationg Logistics Pte. Ltd., said the successful delivery of the project demonstrated the company’s commitment to safety, engineering excellence and effective collaboration, adding that DENZAI looks forward to contributing to future projects in Singapore and internationally.
